Edibles and Random Ideas Privacy Statement

Random Ideas has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our customer information gathering and dissemination practices for our web site(s) and email list(s) and application(s).

We may use your IP address and logs of your activity when connecting to our server(s) to help diagnose problems with our server(s), to administer our web sites, and to collect demographic information for internal purposes. Our web sites use cookies to keep track of your order(s) and to store current session information. In order to place an order with Random Ideas or to utilize the Edibles Sync service, you may be required to register for an account. We maintain your registration information, order history, and your Edibles application data that you upload on our servers.

In some cases, food data entered into Edibles and stored using the Edibles Sync service may be anonymized and aggregated in order to add to our online calorie database. In these cases, all user associations with that data is removed and there is no way to relate that information back to the user from which it originally came.

Our web sites may contain links to other web sites that are not affiliated with Random Ideas, LLC. Random Ideas is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other sites.

Our web sites use order forms for customers to request products and services. In addition to customer account registration information, we collect user contact information (such as email address) and financial information (such as credit card number(s)). Any collected contact information may be used to send orders to our customers or to contact customers when necessary. Any collected financial information may be used to bill customers for products and/or services. We do not release any customer information to third parties who are not directly involved with the fulfillment of your order(s).

Some forms on our web sites may ask for demographic information. Thus, demographic and profile data may also be collected and retained on our servers. We use this data internally to help identify our customers' interests. We do not release any customer information to third parties.

By signing up for a Edibles Sync or Edibles Online account, you agree to allow us to contact you as needed to inform you of changes, downtime, or other significant events involving these services or your account. We may also send you email regarding additional products created by Random Ideas, LLC if we determine that they may be of interest to you. You may choose to opt-out of receiving these emails by visiting your account settings page.

With the exception of the above, all Random Ideas, LLC. electronic mailing lists (email lists) are done on an opt-in only basis. You may choose to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by following the links in the bottom of the emails or by sending us email.

Regardless of whether we receive your email address via a mailing list subscription or through Edibles Sync or Edibles Online, we will not share your email address with any third parties.

Data associated with the Edibles Sync services are stored on our servers as a free courtesy to our users. Random Ideas, LLC does not monitor or filter this data and is not responsible for it's content, reliability, or authenticity.

This data is stored in such a way that it is associated with the user's login so that we may allow the user to edit that data online, so that we may provide technical support to the user and so that you may share that data with other users with a minimum of difficulty.

This data may be shared with other users by you when using the Edibles share feature. In these cases, users other than yourself may modify or even delete data which is shared with them.

Random Ideas updates this privacy statement from time to time. It is up to you, the user, to keep yourself abreast of changes to it.
