This month’s product review is more of a product comparison than a review, per se.

I love Jell-O brand Sugar Free Puddings. They come pre-made. You can find them in the refrigerated section of your grocery store. They come in several flavors; Chocolate, Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl, Double Chocolate (my favorite), and Vanilla as well as two new flavors, Boston Cream and Cinnamon Roll. They’re 60 calories of sweet goodness! There are six containers to a package.

A few weeks ago while looking for my favorite pudding I noticed something new, Jell-O brand "Mousse Temptations. They’re found in the same section as the Sugar Free Pudding. They come in three flavors; Chocolate Indulgence, Dark Chocolate Decadence and Caramel Creme. Like the Sugar-Free Puddings they have 60 calories per container.

My family has tried all three flavors. It was about a 50/50 split on whether we liked them or not. Two of my kiddos didn’t like the texture at all. My husband and other son liked certain flavors but not all. I liked the Dark Chocolate Decadence, though I’m not a big fan of the mousse texture.

Verdict

My final verdict is that the Mousse Temptations, like the other Sugar Free puddings, have great flavor, but you might need to choose your dessert for the texture you like.

If you like smooth and creamy, go with the pudding. If you like light, fluffy and airy, go with the Mousse Temptations. You can’t really miss with the flavors!

NOTE If you’re someone that likes to avoid artificial sweeteners, these contain sucralose.

Less Calcium

I agree with your comments about the texture of the mousse. Also, the mousse has much less calcium than the puddings do.
